Job description
Prepare and cook food to the standards set by the Kitchen / House Manager and to the satisfaction of the customer.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook quality food for customers.
-
Store all food correctly.

Prepare the kitchen and equipment for service maintaining the standards set by the management team.

Maintain the standards of personal hygiene, dress and appearance as required by the management team.

Responsible for all food handled during preparation, cooking and service.

Constantly seeks to deliver a quality offer to ensure customer satisfaction.
-
Abide by all kitchen procedures and systems and ensure company standards are met, particularly in relation to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and routine cleaning.

Approach all work responsibilities with a positive and proactive nature.

The ability to produce dishes to specification within targeted delivery times.
-
Report daily to the Kitchen / House Manager about quality issues, stock levels, deficiencies, equipment checks, failures and any incidents that have occurred in the kitchen.

Deliver open and closedown procedures of the kitchen at specific times.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.

Complete company training and development as required.

Carry out any reasonable request that may be made by the House Manager and any other member of the management team

part time bookkeeper
Description
We are seeking to recruit a part time Bookkeeper to join our established office team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small family business currently operating 5 sites in the Yorkshire Area. MYP is a small group of pubs that are small enough to care but big enough to meet the demands and investments that the current market place requires. This role is at fixed location in our welcoming office, based in Kimberworth. The position offers flexible working hours totalling to 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
-
Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
-
Process income, expenditure and cash takings on weekly basis.
-
Managing employee expense claims.
-
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
-
Prepare management and financial reports.
-
Monitor and record cash flow and projections.
-
Preparation and submission of HMRC reporting.
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
-
Experience with Sage Accounts & QuickBooks.
-
Familiarity MS Excel.
-
Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
-
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
-
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
